FIESTA CUBANA!
Cuban rhythms and Mozart harmonise in small and large ensembles: Sarah Willis, hornist player at Berlin Philharmonic, delights with the Havana Lyceum Orchestra and her very own salsa band – The Sarahbanda.
Sarah Willis’ passion project Mozart y Mambo began just a few years ago with concerts in Cuba and an album recording. At the time, no one expected worldwide tours to the most prestigious concert venues. Yet the unique fusion of music by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Cuban rhythms quickly proved to be a winning combination—captivating music lovers around the globe. Today, Sarah Willis, the young musicians of the Havana Lyceum Orchestra, conductor José Méndez and the Sarahbanda, are welcomed with open arms at top concert halls from Hamburg to Taipei!
